Instructions on how to contribute to the virtual Pottery Show and Tell:
Click on this link: Padlet - Pottery Show and Tell. Then click the + blue plus sign to add a photograph or short video of your pottery and family story (or just title the piece & your family name). Choose the country you'd like to highlight or just click on the USA and perhaps the region your family feels most connected to. Many may click on the SF Bay Area! If a child's face is in a photo or video please message Stephanie Noon on ParentSquare to give permission for this post. All posts will need to be approved by Mrs. Noon before they are public. K-5th grade artists will be making pottery in November in art class. *Note: children should not bring pottery from home to school. Virtual sharing of pottery is preferred so fragile pottery from home is not broken at school.

Yayoi Kusama, a Japanese artist, is known as the Princess of Dots. This October, K-5 Encinal artists are exploring dot art like the 94 year old painter and installation artist. Kusama's art exhibition just opened at the SFMOMA https://www.sfmoma.org/exhibition/yayoi-kusama-infinite-love/ |
